Choose 6 balls from 45
Saturday Lotto numbers are drawn from a machine containing 45 balls numbered from 1 to 45 inclusive. For a standard lottery, you choose 6 numbers from this range. In total, 8 balls are drawn of which the first 6 are the winning numbers. The last 2 balls are the supplementary numbers. These supplementary balls are used to determine prizes in Divisions 2 and 5.

Sunday Lotto (or 'Soccerpools') is based on Australian and European soccer matches. Each week, 38 matches are listed and numbered 1 to 38 inclusive. For a standard lottery, you choose 6 numbers from the range of 1 to 38. The 6 matches that accumulate to the highest total drawn scores are the winning numbers (e.g. Match A with a final score of 4-4 has a higher total score than Match B which finished 3-3). The 7th highest result is the supplementary number.

Sunday Lotto offers 5 'divisions' or levels of prizes. The more winning numbers you are playing in any one lottery, the higher your prize!

When can I play?
Results are announced Sunday nights (AEST) after the last games are played and the dividends are confirmed at midday (AEST) on Monday. Entries close Friday 5pm (AEST).

Thursday Powerball
Choose 5 balls from 45 plus 1 Powerball
For Thursday Lotto (or 'Powerball'), 2 sets of numbers are drawn from 2 machines, each containing 45 balls numbered from 1 to 45 inclusive. For a standard lottery, you choose 5 numbers from the first range of 1 to 45 and a Powerball number from the second range of 1 to 45. In total, the machines draw 6 numbers. Firstly, the 5 winning numbers which are drawn from the first barrel and secondly 1 Powerball number which is drawn from the second barrel of 45 numbers.

What Can I Win?
There are 7 prize divisions in Thursday Lotto. To win a prize, all you need to do is pick 3 winning numbers (this can be three straight numbers or two numbers plus the Powerball).

Thursday Powerball is drawn weekly at 8.30pm (AEST) on Thursday nights. Entries close Thursday 4.00pm (AEST).

6/45 Lotto
When you play a standard game of 6/45 Lotto, you select 6 numbers from the number range 1 to 45 inclusive. The more numbers you are playing in any one game that match the winning numbers in the official draw, the higher the likelihood that you win a prize. Both Tuesday and Saturday Lotto are 6/45 Lottos.
